7311 - SALE OF CONTRUCTED FACILITIES

1. When houses or other facilities, constructed by students in District programs, are ready for sale, the Board shall adopt a resolution to sell the facility.
2. The housing shall be appraised by a licensed appraiser.
3. The housing shall be either advertised in the local newspaper or listed with a local realtor who is a member of the Trumbull County Real Estate Board.
4. Offers to purchase are to meet the following conditions:
    
   1. Offers to Purchase are to be submitted to the Treasurer, accompanied by a certified check in the amount as determined by Treasurer, which check will be returned to unsuccessful purchaser.
   2. Offers to Purchase documents must indicate the method of financing.
   3. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Offers to Purchase.
5. The Treasurer shall review each offer for the Board to ensure it complies with the guidelines established by the Board in its sale resolution.
6. All legal documents relating to the sale of the housing shall be reviewed by an attorney of the District.
7. Recommendations are to be submitted to the Board, and upon approval of the sale, the Superintendent/Treaurer shall complete the transaction.
