SALE OF CONSTRUCTED FACILITIES

7311 - SALE OF CONSTRUCTED FACILITIES

  1. When houses or other facilities, constructed by students in Corporation programs, are ready for sale, the Board shall adopt a resolution to sell the facility.

  2. The housing shall be appraised by a licensed appraiser.

  3. The housing shall be listed with a realtor who is a member and current president of the Clark County Real Estate Board or sold at auction.

  4. Offers to purchase are to meet the following conditions:

    1. Offers to Purchase are to be submitted to the School Corporation, accompanied by a certified check.

    2. Offers to Purchase documents must indicate the method of financing.

    3. The Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all Offers to Purchase.

  5. The agent shall review each offer for the Board to ensure it complies with the guidelines established by the Board in its sale resolution.

  6. All legal documents relating to the sale of the housing shall be reviewed by an attorney of the Corporation.

  7. Recommendations are to be submitted to the Board, and upon approval of the sale, the agent shall complete the transaction.
