The Mukwonago Area School District is governed by a school board consisting of nine resident members. Our district of 90 square miles is divided into three regions (east, central, and west) with two board members from each of the three regions. There are also three at-large members. Three seats on the MASD School Board are open for election in April of each year. School board members serve three year terms and receive a small stipend for their work. Meetings of the full school board are held once each month, typically on the fourth Monday. The full school board also meets once per month as the Committee of the Whole, typically the second Monday.
