3124C - EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR ADMINISTRATORS

The following administrative guidelines shall govern the employment of administrators:

  1. The school year for administrators shall be calculated as follows:
     
    1. Year Round Administrators - will be twelve (12) months or 260 contract days, within which s/he is given a negotiated amount of vacation days and ten (10) paid holidays.
    2. Non-Year Round Administrators - will be eleven (11) months or a negotiated contract days including a negotiated amount of vacation days and ten (10) paid holidays.
  2. The anniversary date of all administrative and supervisory contracts shall be July 1.
  3. Should an administrator be offered a contract in which the salary differs from that approved by the Board of Education, the salary approved by the Board shall be the salary paid.
  4. Contracts shall be issued on or before March 15th of the anniversary year and must be returned by April 15th.
  5. Contracts shall include; contract days, vacation days, and paid holidays.
  6. Each administrator agrees to fulfill all responsibilities described in or attached to the employment contract and to enforce all policies and guidelines prescribed by the Board and the District Administrator.
  7. Every administrator must present a valid certificate or letter of eligibility prior to issuance of a contract.
