7430A - IDENTIFICATION BADGES
Employees
The protection of students, staff and facilities of the School Corporation are of paramount concern. In order to maximize security and personnel safety, all staff members are required to wear a corporation identification badge at all times when on duty. The identification badge must be visibly displayed on a lanyard or a clip on the person’s front between the neck and the waist.
The initial badge is provided by the Corporation at no cost to the employee. Any staff member desiring a second identification badge or needing to replace the original identification badge will be required to purchase the badge through the Corporation. At the cessation of employment with the Corporation identification badges, keys, and other similar items of a security nature are to be returned to the Corporation.
Visitors
All visitors will report to the office.
Each school shall establish a check-in, check-out procedure for visitors.
All visitors will be issued a temporary identification to be worn while on school premises. This identification shall be returned to the school office when checking-out.
