2450 - COMMUNITY AND ADULT EDUCATION
Definitions
Community and Adult Education shall be defined as GED classes.
Supervision
The program shall be administered and supervised by the assigned teacher who reports to the Superintendent. The assigned teacher shall be responsible for recommending:
a budget;
school to be utilized;
staff to be employed.
The assigned teacher shall make all necessary applications for funding and prepare all reports as required.
Eligibility
Enrollment is open to anyone over sixteen (16) years of age who is not currently attending day school below the college level or has been enrolled in the day school.
A fully credited diploma program is available.
Tuition
All fees are to be established by the assigned teacher with the approval of the Superintendent. All payments are to be made by participants prior to the start of the class.
