5452 - ATHLETIC AWARDS

The Board of Education believes that interscholastic sports are an integral part of the school program. Sports are tools by which school becomes relevant to many students either through direct participation or school identification.

The Board wishes to recognize the achievements of students who give many hours of their time to represent the school in interscholastic athletics.

The Board authorizes the high school and middle school principal and/or athletic director to prepare regulations for the selection of those entitled to awards and the type of awards to be offered.
