3410.04 - SUBSTITUTE COMPENSATION

In order to retain well qualified substitutes for service in this District, the Board will offer competitive compensation.

Substitutes employed on a day-to-day basis shall be paid on a per diem basis at a rate of $70.00 per day.

A substitute employed for more than sixty (60) consecutive days in one specific position will be placed at the appropriate position on the salary schedule and will be eligible for fringe benefits.

Daily substitutes shall not earn sick leave nor be paid for days when students are not required to attend school. Revised 9/17/09
