3130.01 - ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSFER OF ADMINISTRATORS

The judicious placement of administrators within the District is important for the successful functioning of the District.

The Board shall approve the assignment of administrative personnel when such assignments involve a transfer from one building to another, or involve a transfer from one position to another.

No administrator shall be transferred during the life of his/her contract with the District to a position of lesser responsibility except by mutual agreement.

The Superintendent shall provide for a system of voluntary transfer in which administrative vacancies should be publicized to all appropriate employees, and the wishes of the administrator who voluntarily requests reassignment or transfer should be honored to the extent that the transfer does not conflict with the instructional requirements and welfare of the District as determined by the Superintendent.
