2312 - CLASS SIZE
The Board of Education requires that class sizes be determined with reference to instructional quality and economy of operation.
A desired range between the minimum and maximum number of students which teachers shall have in their regular classes shall be determined by the Superintendent and/or principal.
In determining the maximum number of students in a class, consideration shall be given to:
subject matter;
type of instruction;
ability of students;
availability and appropriateness of aides;
use of special facilities and equipment.
