5451 - STUDENT RECOGNITION

The Board values and promotes student excellence and supports District efforts that instill in students the desire to do their best in all things. It shall be the policy of this Board, therefore, to recognize outstanding student accomplishment in academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular areas.

The Board authorizes the District Administrator to develop a plan for recognition of outstanding student achievement and excellence based on well-defined, consistent criteria and standards.
