2312 - CLASS SIZE
The Board of Education requires that class sizes be determined with reference to instructional quality and economy of operation.
A desired range between the minimum and maximum number of students which teachers shall have in their regular classes shall be determined by the Superintendent/principal.
In determining the maximum number of students in a class, consideration shall be given to:
- subject matter;
- type of instruction;
- ability of students;
- availability and appropriateness of aides;
- use of special facilities and equipment.
