4420 - HEALTH INSURANCE MODIFICATION

Beginning January 1, 2003, any newly hired employee who has a spouse already employed by the Corporation will be subject to the current contribution towards health insurance monthly premiums as all other employees who are eligible for health insurance through the Corporation. If a married couple should be hired by the Corporation at the same time they would fall under this policy. For members of the bargaining unit, this would be the amount specified in the collective bargaining agreement. For all other employees, it would be the amount set by the School Board of Trustees.

If two (2) current employees become married after January 1, 2003, they would fall under the above policy for newly hired employees. This policy is for all employees throughout the Corporation.

Any married couples hired prior to January 1, 2003, will continue to pay only $1.00 for their health insurance.
