9145 - APPOINTMENTS TO STATUTORY BOARDS
The Board recognizes the importance of appointing quality individuals to the Library Board. The following process shall be established to allow the best candidates an opportunity to serve our community:
A twenty-one (21) day notification period. Information should be included on the Corporation website and advertised in the newspaper with the largest circulation in Floyd County.
A fourteen (14) day application period.
The Superintendent will coordinate an interview process.
A recommendation by the Superintendent to the Board of School Trustees.
This process shall also be used for any other statutory Board appointments.
New Albany-Floyd Co. School Corporation
