5215 - MISSING AND ABSENT CHILDREN

It is the interest of this School Board to cooperate with local, State, and National efforts to decrease the number of missing children.

The Superintendent is instructed to promulgate administrative guidelines to accomplish the following:

1. Inform the Indiana Clearinghouse for Information on Missing Children prior to admitting a student lacking records. Such a procedure may reduce the risk of removal of the student from the area.
2. Utilize materials from the Indiana Clearinghouse for Information on Missing Children which is available through the State Police.
