0171.1 - PRESIDENT

The President of the School Board shall:

1. preside at meetings of the Board;
2. countersign orders legally drawn by the Secretary upon the Treasurer for money to be disbursed on behalf of the School Corporation;
3. cause an action to be prosecuted in the name of the Corporation on the Treasurer's bond in case of breach of a condition of the bond;
4. perform other duties appropriate to the office of the President in the management of schools.
