0154 - MOTIONS

The School Board shall, at the organizational meeting on or before January 15th:

1. elect a:
    
   1. president
   2. vice president, and
   3. secretary

each of whom is a different manner;

2. appoint a treasurer of the Board and of the School Corporation who is a person, other than the Superintendent, who is not a member of the Board;
3. designate a day, place, and time for regular meetings which shall be held at least once every monthly;
4. authorize the President of the Board to appoint individual Board members to any necessary committees or as representatives to various organizations;
5. appoint a legal counsel;
6. appoint a Board member as legislative liaison to the Indiana School Boards Association;
7. appoint the local board of finance;
8. determine whether to continue or not continue accepting out-of-district students;
9. appoint a medical consultant.
