5514.02 - STUDENT USE OF SERVICE ANIMALS

Service Animals

Service animals used by students requiring this type of assistance shall be permitted in all District facilities and at all school events.

The student and/or the student's parent(s), if the student is a minor, shall provide evidence of the medical necessity of the service for the student and evidence of the animal's certification or appropriate evidence of the animal's training to provide the required assistance, as well as certification that all required immunizations are current.
