2230 - CURRICULUM COURSE GUIDES
The Board recognizes that the District must develop and maintain curriculum course guides in order to better accomplish learning results with students.
As appropriate to the course of study, each guide shall contain:
- the intended learning outcome(s), defined in terms of how the learning is applied;
- appropriate materials and resources;
- evaluation criteria, standards, and methods which will confirm the extent to which learning outcomes have been achieved;
- a list of supplemental materials for the guidance of teachers.
The Superintendent shall be responsible for the preparation of curriculum course guides and shall establish administrative guidelines related to their preparation.
All new curriculum course guides and revisions of existing curriculum course guides shall be submitted to the Board for approval before they are implemented.
