2230 - COURSE GUIDES
The Board of Education recognizes that there may be a need from time to time to augment one (1) or more segments of a course of study with a guide in order to better accomplish learning results with students.
As appropriate to the course of study, each guide shall contain:
the intended learning outcome(s), defined in terms of how the learning is applied;
knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values needed to achieve those outcomes;
learning activities needed to achieve the outcome;
suggested methods of instruction;
evaluation criteria, standards, and methods which will confirm the extent to which learning outcomes have been achieved.
The Superintendent shall be responsible for the preparation of course guides and shall establish administrative guidelines related to their preparation.
