5460.01 - GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
- An eleventh or twelfth grade student transferring to this District out-of-state or from another country shall be permitted to graduate on schedule and receive a standard high school diploma with fewer than the prescribed number of credits provided the following conditions are met. The student shall:
- have successfully completed the normal requirements of the school district, state, or country from which s/he is transferring;
- have taken and successfully completed a full schedule of courses, including as many required courses as possible, during the period of attendance at the graduating school;
- have earned a 2.0 grade point average; and
- have demonstrated proficiency in Reading and Mathematics by either earning passing scores on the Grade 10/Retake State mandated testing Reading and Mathematics tests or through a standardized test score that is concordant with the passing score on the State mandated testing as set forth in State law.
