3120.05 - ADULT EDUCATION CERTIFICATION

Instructional personnel who are contracted to teach full-time in the adult education program shall hold a valid Florida Educator's Certificate in the area of assignment and shall be governed by the same Board policies as other full-time instructional personnel.

Instructional personnel who are employed to teach part-time in the adult education program shall be employed as instructional personnel in compliance with F.S. 1012.39, and shall be governed by criteria found in the Adult/Community Education Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual. Part-time instructional personnel must hold a valid State Educator's Certificate or a District-issued part-time adult education certificate.

The Superintendent may revoke a part-time Adult Educator's Certificate for cause.
