2432 - DRIVER EDUCATION
The Board shall offer a program of driver education to students in the secondary schools. The Board chooses to charge for the behind-the-wheel portion of the driver education course at the rate established by the Board. Secondary schools shall provide preferential enrollment to any student in the custody of the Department of Children and Families so long as the student maintains appropriate progress as required by the student’s school.
The Board may contract with the Brevard County Tax Collector for a tax collector employee to administer road tests on school grounds at one (1) or more schools within the District.
