1040.01 - NON-REEMPLOYMENT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT
The Board has an obligation to the citizens of this District to employ the professional leadership best trained and equipped to meet the educational needs of the students. It shall meet that obligation by retaining only the best-qualified person as Superintendent.
If the services of the Superintendent are found to be unsatisfactory to the Board, the Superintendent shall be notified in writing by the Board Chair, as approved by the Board at a publicly noticed meeting.
Any decision to discontinue the employment of the Superintendent shall be made at a publicly noticed meeting of the Board and in accordance with the Superintendent's employment agreement.
