0173 - BOARD OFFICERS

1. The Chairman of the Board shall:
    
   1. preside at all public meetings of the Board;
   2. call special meetings of the Board;
   3. appoint or provide for the selection of all committees;
   4. sign notes, minutes, conveyances, contracts, and other legal instruments for which the signature of the Chairman is called; and
   5. perform other duties which may be prescribed by law or by action of the Board.
2. The Vice-Chairman shall assume and discharge the duties of the Chairman in his/her absence, disability, or disqualification, and perform other duties prescribed by the Board.
3. The Superintendent shall serve as secretary and executive officer of the Board.
4. A committee chairperson shall call meetings of the committee, keep informed on developments in activities under the committee’s jurisdiction, and report to the Board for the committee.
