7510 - USE OF DISTRICT FACILITIES

District classrooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums (including climbing wall facility), cafeterias and recreations facilities shall be made available to community groups under prescribed conditions, if permissible under law. Any school activity subject to control of the Board shall have precedence in the use of school facilities.

Applications for use of school facilities shall be filed on the prescribed forms and submitted to the District Administrator, who shall follow Board policies and precedents in granting approval to such applications.

Community groups applying for use of buildings shall be responsible for damage done over and above ordinary wear. Facilities shall be available to school and affiliated school groups at no rental charge. Nonaffiliated groups shall pay fees according to a schedule adopted by the Board.

Note: For use of the climbing wall, there must be a minimum of two (2) ABEE certified instructors maintaining a ratio of no more than fifteen (15) students per instructor.
