5421 - GRADING

Grading systems shall be designed to report to parents the progress of their children. The system used shall report the student's achievement.

A specific grading system shall be developed by each classroom teacher and be approved by his/her building principal.

The Barron Area School District shall not discriminate in the methods, practices and materials used for evaluating students on the basis of sex, race, religion, national origin, color, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, physical, mental, emotional or learning disability or handicap. Discrimination complaints shall be processed in accordance with established procedures.
