3432 - EMPLOYEE SICK LEAVE

Any employee absent from duty because of personal illness shall be paid his/her full salary for the period of such absence provided the employee has accrued sick leave at the rate of one (1) day per month worked, ten (10) days maximum per school year, 120 days maximum.

Employees who retire at age fifty-five (55) or older, with at least ten (10) years of service shall be paid $50.00 per day for each day of accumulated sick leave to be paid to a District designated Health Retirement Account.
