0142.2 - OATH

Each newly elected, re-elected, appointed, or re-appointed Board member shall take an oath of office administered by a notary public or other qualified person no later than thirty (30) days after beginning the term of office. Each Board member shall also take other oaths which may be required for transactions connected with or related to the educational program of the Corporation.

The oath must be signed by the Board member and the person who administers it and filed in the circuit court clerk’s office of the county containing the greatest percentage of the population of the School Corporation.
